Fall 2016 Educational Programs

October: Harassment Prevention Awareness

With the university Title IX Coordinator, the Student Employment Office has planned a Title IX educational session tailored to individuals working with students in a supervisory role, including how to recognize and prevent harassment and how and when to report it. All supervisors of student employees are invited to attend. Please RSVP by Monday, October 17.

November: Students at Risk

The Illinois Tech Health and Wellness Center will be offering an interactive workshop on identifying at-risk students who may work in your office on campus. Among other things, this will help supervisors identify the difference between "stress" and "distress, " what to look for through changes in work performance, and/or physical or psychological signs, and what tools are available to you to help students in these situations.
