Legal Services to Students
Should you find yourself in need of legal assistance, Adam David Ingber, P.C. may be able to provide such assistance. Although there are many attorneys in Chicago, as a service to students who may find themselves in situations for which legal consultation could be of value, Mr. Ingber is contracted by the university to provide a free, initial legal consultation and related services to Illinois Tech students. He may be reached at 312.853.3588 or email@example.com. The decision to contact and/or use Mr. Ingber as opposed to another attorney is solely yours to make.
Mr. Ingber is not an employee of Illinois Tech; he is also not an attorney for Illinois Tech. He is an independent, Illinois licensed attorney, and if you elect to contact him, any attorney-client relationship that may arise would be solely between you and him. If, after the initial consultation, you elect to have Mr. Ingber continue to represent you, you would then be responsible for payment to him for any such services rendered and the terms of his representation would be solely a matter of negotiation between you and Mr. Ingber.
Finally, as Mr. Ingber has worked with many Illinois Tech students, he has prepared an informational memorandum addressing a number of common, reoccurring situations that he has encountered over the years. Mr. Ingber is solely responsible for the contents of this memorandum. Illinois Tech has had no role in its preparation. Any questions regarding the contents of this memorandum should be directed to him.
The ombudsperson is dedicated to assisting Illinois Tech students who are experiencing problems. Our ombudsperson works as a liaison between university personnel and students to achieve a fair resolution of disputes. Illinois Tech’s ombudsperson works to protect the rights of all parties involved and is committed to fair treatment of all students at Illinois Tech.
In order to provide our students services with maximum efficiency and a minimum of confusion, the One Stop has been established representing the Offices of the Registrar, Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, and Student Accounting.
