Outreach is our way of increasing college-student health awareness through prevention, education, and stigma reduction. Through outreach the SHWC staff members are able to connect with the larger IIT community and ultimately contribute to and strengthen student wellness.

SHWC provides a number of presentations, workshops, and consultation to students, faculty, and staff at IIT. Some examples of previous presentations include Stress Reduction, Healthy Eating, Sexual Health, Sexual Assault Prevention, Eating Disorder Awareness, World AIDS Day, and Suicide Prevention.

SHWC staff work with other campus partners, student groups, and individual students to create and provide outreach services. If you are interested in collaborating with us please complete our outreach request form.

Contact us at least two weeks in advance of your requested presentation date. While SHWC will make every effort to honor every request for collaboration, we reserve the right to limit outreach requests at any time based on center availability.
