The Staff Advisory Council (StaffAC) was initiated by President Alan Cramb in 2016. The StaffAC is comprised of staff, nominated and selected by the university staff. It is the only staff assembly recognized by the university administration as officially representing the views of staff employees. It serves as an important function of communication between the staff and the university’s administration.
The StaffAC provides
- A transparent platform to share concerns and issues about the state of the university and discuss directly with the president to bridge gaps of communication.
- A forum for staff to share concerns and issues with the StaffAC.
- A productive voice to improve Illinois Tech, enable student success and build community by addressing staff concerns and creating an impact throughout the university.
