4 Illinois Tech Students Make the List of 25 Chicago Startup Founders Under 25
A look at some of the youngest players in Chicago's tech scene
4 Illinois Tech (one of which is an Information Technology and Management) students or alumni make the list of the top 25 under 25. Congratulations to 1. Dane Christianson (22)--Moving Parts, 16. James Mwakichako (22)--Pixrlarc Studio, ITM alum 18. Kevin Roemer (23)--Brandless.io and Partner at FUND Conference, and 19. Nishanth Samala (23)--Strados.
ITM alum, Kevin Roemer, launched Brandless.io in July, a creative agency that provides web design, development, hosting, and other services. It's clients so far have included restaurants, law firms and the personal website of Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward. Roemer is also a founding team member of the FUND Conference, a conference centered on early stage investing for VCs and startups.
Mr. Roemer took ITM 481/581 IT Entrepreneurship with Dr. C. Robert Carslon. The course must have helped!
