Professor Brackett visits Korean Alumni Association leaders.
During his visit to Seoul in October 2016, Illinois Tech Food Science Professor Robert Brackett (left), who is vice president and director of the university’s Institute for Food Safety and Health, met with some Korean Alumni Association leaders. With him are Korea University Professor Jongsub Moon, PhD CS ‘91, who is president of the Illinois Tech Korean Alumni Association; IIT Seoul office Director Sung Ho Noh; Mr. Tae Hyung "Bennett" Kim, PhD MSE '11; Mr. Sanghyun Kim, MS EE ‘11; Mr. Yoo-jong Lee, MSDM ‘08; and Dongduk Women’s University President Nak Hoon Kim, MS CS ‘85, PhD ’89.

About the Office of International Affairs

Illinois Institute of Technology's Office of International Affairs (OIA) was established in 1995 to extend IIT's mission of teaching and research through global activities and alliances.

Vice President Darsh Wasan and his staff help coordinate and advance the university's wide-ranging international activities. OIA develops new international initiatives to facilitate the recruitment of a diverse student body, internationalize the curricula, expand distance learning, encourage study abroad, and foster international exchange and collaboration.

OIA also builds relationships with individuals and institutions, and works with the alumni office to expand IIT's international alumni network to link alumni with each other and build a global IIT community.
