Office of International Affairs
Illinois Institute of Technology's Office of International Affairs (OIA) was established in 1995 to extend IIT's mission of teaching and research through global activities and alliances.
The office helps coordinate and advance the university's wide-ranging international activities. OIA helps to develop new international initiatives to facilitate the recruitment of a diverse student body, internationalize the curricula, expand distance learning, encourage study abroad, and foster international exchange and collaboration.
OIA also builds relationships with individuals and institutions, and works with the alumni office to expand IIT's international alumni network to link alumni with each other and build a global IIT community.
