The Safety Policy Committee exists to formulate and update, as needed, various safety-related policies, programs and manuals. Responsibility for the implementation of these policies, programs and manuals rests with the individual departments and units. The Director of Environmental Health and Safety, with assistance from the campus-wide Safety Working Group and designated academic safety officers, monitors compliance.
