Exit Counseling

Per federal regulation, students who have borrowed federal loans during their tenure at an institution of higher education must complete exit counseling upon graduation, less than part-time enrollment, or leaving the university.

Exit counseling provides borrowers with important information regarding debt-management strategies and loan repayment including deferments, grace periods, loan consolidation, and loan default.

You can complete exit counseling via studentaid.gov. You will be notified by the Office of Financial Aid when you are required to complete this requirement.
