The entire Illinois Tech community is excited to welcome you to campus! As a new student, you have the opportunity to attend Student Orientation, Advisement, and Registration (SOAR) and participate in the First-Year Experience (FYE) program.
SOAR will be your first opportunity to connect with your future classmates and begin building community at Illinois Tech. You will learn how to navigate the many resources and services in place to assist you with your academic career, meet with an advisor, and register for your classes. At this time you will also receive your first introduction to our First-Year Experience program, which will help acclimate you in becoming a Scarlet Hawk!
Are you a commuter student? Be sure to check out our Commuter Resources page for information on getting to campus, meal plans, the Commuter Lounge and more!
