  1. GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM - Please consult the General Education section of the current IIT Bulletin for complete requirements.
    1. Basic Writing Proficiency - Students must show basic writing proficiency by receiving a satisfactory score on the Writing Proficiency Examination or by passing an English Composition course.
    2.     3.     4.     5. Science Electives - A minimum of eleven (11) hours is required to fulfill this requirement. A Psychology major should complete BIOL 114, 115, 121 or 122 and additional courses chosen from the following to total 11 hours: ASTRONOMY 201; BIOLOGY 101, 102, 109, 110, 113, 114, 115, 116, 119, 121, 122; BOTANY 201; CHEMISTRY 121, 201, 203, 212; MICROBIOLOGY 233, 234; PHYSICS 231, 232, 235, 236; ZOOLOGY 211.
