This award recognizes a graduate teaching assistant (TA) who has shown extraordinary dedication and commitment to undergraduate education. If you know of a TA who exemplifies the kind of teacher we all should be, please nominate them for this special honor. Only graduate students enrolled in six or more credit hours who is employed by an academic unit as a TA are eligible.
In your letter of recognition, please describe those special characteristics of the TA deserving of recognition. You must also submit a letter from a faculty member (preferably from the course professor) within the department supporting your nomination. If the nomination is from a faculty member within the department, no letter of support is needed.
Nominations for the 23-24 academic year are now closed. All nominees must submit an activities transcript. Student Activities transcripts are due by Friday, March 8, 2024.
