Psychotherapeutic and psychiatric appointments at the Student Health and Wellness Center are free of charge. However, you may incur fees if you are in violation of our cancellation policy. Failure to attend your counseling appointment without notifying your therapist at least two hours in advance will result in a “no-show fee” of $10 per missed session. You can contact your therapist directly via the Patient Portal or call the office at 312.567.7550.
If you cannot attend your scheduled psychiatry appointment or expect to be significantly late, please contact the office at 312.567.7550 at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Failure to attend your psychiatry appointment without notifying us at least 24 hours in advance will result in a “no-show fee” of $100 for intake appointments and a $50 fee for follow-up appointments.
You may pay these fees in person at the SHWC or online. Failure to pay these fees may result in a hold on your student account.
