The Illinois Tech OPT Reporting App that graduated students use to report employment information while on OPT and STEM OPT will no longer be available starting August 3rd, 2022 as the Office of Global Services will use Illinois Tech's ISSS Portal for employment reporting and all I-20 requests moving forward.

OPT Reporting Requirements

Students on OPT and STEM OPT will still be able to utilize the SEVP Portal to report all required information into SEVIS to confirm their employment information. The SEVP Portal is an important tool that allows F-1 students on Post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) and STEM Extension to submit their legal reporting requirements directly into SEVIS.

Password and Log-in Information:

When your initial OPT begins and your EAD card Start Date passes, SEVP sends students an email inviting them to open an account for the SEVP Portal. This email invitation will be sent from the following email address: do-not-reply.SEVP@ice.dhs.gov.

If you have received this email prior, and have already created an account with SEVP, you do not have to create another account again with SEVP.

If you have not created an account yet, check your spam folder to see if the email is there. If you do not have an email or you require a link to be resent to you to reset your password, then you may contact us via email at globalservices@iit.edu

STEM OPT students only: All material changes or new I-983 Training Plans must be uploaded within the "OPT/STEM OPT Employment Reporting" or  request in the ISSS Portal for reporting purposes.
