- Bring approximately $1,500 with you in traveler’s checks or other secure format (not cash) to last at least one week. Be aware that it may take several days before you are able to open a bank account in the United States. Also make sure you have around $100 cash in small denominations to pay for incidental expenses.

- IIT has partnered with Flywire to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students. With Flywire, you can pay from any country and any bank with an excellent foreign exchange rate. You will be able to track where your payment is in the transfer process via a student dashboard, and an email confirmation will be sent to you when IIT receives your payment.
