The 2014–2015 IIT Commencement will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 16, 2015.

Location: Main Campus, Ed Glancy Baseball Field, 31st and Wabash Streets (between State Street and Michigan Ave.)
IIT Commencement will consist of separate celebratory events: an Opening Ceremony and Academic Unit Ceremonies. Tickets are required for entry at both events. Students that completed the Ceremony Response Form by the March 2, 2015 deadline will receive tickets for their guests at Graduate Salute. Requests for additional tickets and late ceremony attendance requests should be made with the appropriate Academic Unit Planner.
All bachelor’s, graduate, and Ph.D. students will attend the Opening Ceremony and will line up at MTCC. This is an outdoor event; please dress appropriately for the weather. Gates will open at 8 a.m. for guest seating. Guests need to be seated no later than 9:15 a.m.
Academic Unit Ceremonies
Students will attend separate events based on college or academic unit affiliation.
Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony
The Friday evening, May 15, 2015, before the main Commencement ceremony, students graduating with their Ph.D. are invited to a special event where they receive their doctoral hoods. Information regarding the Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony can be found here.
