First Year Experience

The First Year Experience program (FYE) at the Illinois Institute of Technology is designed to help students find the resources and support they need to succeed during their time on campus. We recognize that students need to stay engaged beyond SOAR and Welcome Week and hope they remain involved with FYE thoughout their entire first year. This list is also a great way to start off the year on the right foot! FYE is open to all new undergraduate students, including first-year and transfer students, and is comprised of two components:

  1. Peer Mentor Program
  2. Freshmen 15
