Venus in Fur

33rd Street Productions kicks off their 2015-2016 theatre season with a compelling performance of Venus in Fur by David Ives. At the core of Venus lies a spectacular power struggle phrased in terms of masochism, yet expressed in concepts of detachment. The play begins with a struggling actress trying out for a show, but as the audition wears on, the lines between reality and fantasy begin to blur. Venus then descends into a complex game of the actress and director circling each other, each one fighting for the position of dominant. Be sure to witness which character wins in this dark dramatic comedy.

Quiddiitch Scrimmage

(The Quad)

Quidditch is the game inspired by Harry Potter, and it is a game that combines elements of handball, dodgeball, ultimate Frisbee, and rugby. Two teams have seven players each on the field at a time, three of whom are Chasers, one who is a goalie,  two who are called beaters and one who is the seeker. This event is open to everyone!

Join Gender and Sexuality Services for Safe on Campus - a two-hour ally training to provide you with resources, support, and information for the LGBTQ community. Participation in this training demonstrates that you do not tolerate anti-LGBTQ violence, harassment, and discrimination and will openly work toward creating a safe and welcoming space for all students.

After college, Andy Stoll set off on a 4-year, 40-country solo trip around the world. Andy went in search of experiences far off the beaten path to get a better understanding of how the world works. He came away with an insightful, inspiring, entertaining, and often hilarious look at what it takes to find our place in the world and to achieve our biggest dreams – whether that is to travel the world or something a little closer to home.

The Psychology of Disc Golf
