Walter Peterhans

Walter PeterhansA German Bauhaus photographer and art historian, Walter Peterhans was recruited by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in the 1930s to develop a visual training curriculum for the architecture program at Armour Institute of Technology. The Visual Training course he founded was considered groundbreaking in architecture education. Peterhans is also known for the portraits and industrial images he produced in his private studio and on commercial assignment.
