Robert Lee Roderick

Robert Lee RoderickManager of the Surveyor space program at Hughes Aircraft Company from 1964–68, alumnus Robert Lee Roderick received NASA’s Public Service Award for his role in these missions, which greatly expanded our knowledge of the lunar surface. He was also considered to be a specialist in aircraft instrumentation, global surveillance, and ballistic defense and penetration systems. From 1973 until his retirement in 1990, Roderick was employed in executive positions at the Hughes Aircraft Aerospace Group and Hughes Corporate Technology Centers.
